Our 5th grade students at Neil Armstrong brought Shakespeare to life on Friday with their performances of A Midsummer Night’s Dream! 🎭✨
Each class did a fabulous job, and they even had a special audience—our Kindergarten students—who enjoyed the show in the cafeteria. What a fun way to share learning across grade levels! #BettPride

Former Bett grad Will Luebke (Class of 2020) visited German classes to talk about the benefits of learning German. Will graduated from the University of Iowa with a double major in German and International Studies in 2024 and is now the Assistant Director of International Student Programs at Grinnell College. #BettPride

🌱💧 The BHS Conservation Club has been selected as a 2026 American Water Charitable Foundation Water and Environment grant recipient! This funding will support the purchase of native plant seeds to help absorb rainwater, reduce flooding, and prevent pollutants from entering our local streams—protecting the very water we drink.
The grant will also fund an electric mower to help create a trail through the prairie and forest areas maintained by our students. This space will serve as an outdoor classroom, educating both students and our community about the importance of native landscapes in protecting water quality.
We’re proud of our students for leading the way in environmental stewardship!
