Sra. Martens and Drs. Rivera talked about some unique holiday traditions with their Spanish classes. The tradition of Tió Nadal (Christmas log) or Caga Tió (Pooping Log) is a strange tradition found in Cataluña, Spain. Starting Dec. 8th families place this cute magic log in their homes and give it food and water. On Dec. 25th they sing a special song and beat the log so that it leaves small gifts like candy and nuts.

BMS History Teacher Ron Bergman and his BMS Lego Club built a replica of the Battle of the Bulge (Dec. 16, 1944 - January 28, 1945) as a tribute to his grandfather and our serviceman.
