Summer Meals

BETTENDORF, IOWA — This summer, Bettendorf Community School District will again offer free meals for kids 18 and under, funded by the USDA Summer Food Service Program. All children are welcome—no registration or ID is required. Meals must be eaten on-site.

🗓️ Dates: June 9–27 & July 7–25 (GW Only - June 30-July 2)

Meal sites and times:

📍 Bettendorf High School (3333 18th St.)
Morning Snack: 9:30 - 10 am
Lunch: 12 - 12:45 pm

📍 Grant Wood Elementary School (1423 Hillside Dr.) - *This site will also be open June 30-July 2)
Breakfast: 8:30am-9:30 am
Lunch: 11:45 am - 1 pm

📍 Neil Armstrong Elementary (3311 Central Ave.)
Breakfast: 8:30 am - 9 am
Lunch: 12 - 1 pm

This summer, Bettendorf Community Schools is teaming up with Bettendorf Parks & Recreation to offer additional locations for youth.

📍 Edgewood Park (1400 23rd St.)
Lunch: Mondays, Thursdays, and every other Friday 11:30 - 12:15 pm

📍 McManus Park (1200 Mississippi Blvd.)
Lunch:Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and every other Friday 11:30 - 12:15 pm

“We are proud to support our community by offering nutritious meals throughout the summer,” said Michelle Riessen, Bettenodrf Community Schools Nutrition & Wellness Manager. “This program helps ensure no child goes hungry when school is out.”
