Upcoming events/deadlines:

Applications for the Bettendorf National Honor Society Chapter are now being accepted. If you are a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior with a GPA of 3.5 or higher who is currently enrolled in or has completed an honors, AP, or concurrent college class, you are eligible to apply. Applications should possess a high level of character, scholarship, leadership, and service, and be able to express examples of such in their application essay. Applications can be found here and are due on March 13th at 3:30 pm. No late applications will be accepted. Please see Mrs. Hoyt with questions.

We are combining the Winter Dance and Dance Marathon into one big event on Saturday, February 28th, from 8:00 to 11:00 PM in the BHS Gym. Admission is $10, or $15 with a Dance Marathon shirt included. All proceeds support the Dance Marathon through the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital. Make it count! Spirit Days for the week are below. During Dance Marathon, on February 28th at 8 pm, we will be selling Bulldog Charge for $5.

Attention ALL Esports students (fall, winter, and spring): we are taking a club photo for the yearbook in the gym on Wednesday at 2 pm. Please wear your Esports jersey and black pants.
The Library Advisory Committee (LAC) will meet from 6-7 in the BHS Library on Thursday, March 5th.
Book Club will meet on Thursday during Pride. We are discussing chapters 1-6 of Murder on the Orient Express.

Upcoming PRIDE sessions:

Hey Bulldogs! You’ve probably heard we’re combining Winter Formal + Dance Marathon on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 8 PM — but what exactly is Dance Marathon?

Dance Marathon is a student-led movement that raises money and awareness for kids fighting cancer at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. This cause hits close to home — several Bettendorf families have directly benefited from this fundraiser.

Want to help? This Friday, Feb. 27, Ms. Hesse is hosting a Dance Marathon Pride Time to paint and decorate our “For The Kids” banner, plus other fun arts and crafts for the event.
