Upcoming events/deadlines:

  • Student Council is looking for volunteers to help with Hunger Drive Canvassing! This is a great opportunity to earn service hours, make a real difference in our community, and help us collect donations for the River Bend Foodbank, as well as take down PV!

Sunday, October 19 – starting at 1:00 PM

Thursday, October 30 – after school

  • Calling all Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Rainbow 6 Siege players! It's not too late to join our Fall Esports teams. See Ms. Mitola in the library if you are interested in joining

  • We are so excited to announce that the HOBY Youth Leadership experience is now open for registration.  The conference is June 5, 2026, through June 7, 2026, at Drake University.  If you are a sophomore and interested in this opportunity, please stop into Student Services and talk with Mrs. Cauwels regarding this amazing opportunity.

  • It's back! Our first Cozy Coloring Contest of the year is ready to go. Stop by the library to grab your coloring sheet. Entries are due by Wednesday, Oct. 22nd. Coloring pages will be displayed in the library, and winners will be announced on the following Wednesday. There is both a student and a staff division, so everyone can join in the fun!

  • The 2025-26 "Surround Sound" Show Choir is looking for students interested in joining our show crew for the upcoming season! Show Crew helps out with many things, such as organizing costumes, handling props, and even moving some smaller extension risers. Below are the dates we would need you to be available, but we can be flexible!!! Please fill out this Google Form Below!

- Bettendorf "Rhythm on the Riverbend" Show Choir Competition - Saturday, February 7th

  • Politics Today - Every Friday during PRIDE

  • HOSA Health Sciences Club - Next meeting is Wednesday, October 15th at 7:35 am in B202, Dr. Roeder's room. All are welcome!

  • Spanish Club will meet TODAY after school in Mr. Dominguez classroom. All students are welcome!

  • Women in STEM (WiSTEM) will meet next Tuesday, October 14 at 3:30 PM. We will be conducting a slime lab. Snacks provided!

  • Are you interested in building the set for the upcoming play??  Come join the Build Company Friday from 4-6. Show up every day or when you can!!   Meet at the scene shop located behind the stage.  See Mr. Tolle if you have any questions. 

  • FCCLA will hold its next meeting TOMORROW, October 10th, at 7:45 am in room B 217 (Toppert's). All are welcome.

  • Are you into dark secrets, forbidden science, and a little romance in the shadows of 19th-century Edinburgh? Join us for the first Book Club meeting of the semester during Pride Time on October 16, as we dive into Anatomy: A Love Story by Dana Schwartz — a gothic tale where ambition, mystery, and love collide. College Showcase - You don’t want to miss this! Over 15 college representatives will be here at BHS (see flyer for more info) to meet you!

Public Health Visit - Visit the Scott County Health Department with us to learn about the many health, medical, and community related careers involved

LEJA Career Fair - We will be visiting Western IL in Macomb to learn more about careers in law enforcement and justice administration

Union Showcase - Meet with union representatives to learn more about what they offer

Bettendorf Police Visit - We will be touring the BPD to learn about careers in law enforcement

Future Teachers Day - Learn about careers and degrees in the education field

Construction & Building Futures Career Expo - This will be an exciting day of hands on activities and information about a future career in the construction industry

Agriculture Visit Day - We will learn about the exciting degrees and careers in Agriculture
