Congratulations to the Speech and Debate Team for their performance at this weekend's IFL Season Opener at Dowling Catholic HS.  The following students returned with trophies:

  • Calling all Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Rainbow 6 Siege players! It's not too late to join our Fall Esports teams. See Ms. Mitola in the library if you are interested in joining

  • We are so excited to announce that the HOBY Youth Leadership experience is now open for registration.  The conference is June 5, 2026, through June 7, 2026, at Drake University.  If you are a sophomore and interested in this opportunity, please stop into Student Services and talk with Mrs. Cauwels regarding this amazing opportunity.

  • It's back! Our first Cozy Coloring Contest of the year is ready to go. Stop by the library to grab your coloring sheet. Entries are due by Wednesday, Oct. 22nd. Coloring pages will be displayed in the library, and winners will be announced on the following Wednesday. There is both a student and a staff division, so everyone can join in the fun!

  • The 2025-26 "Surround Sound" Show Choir is looking for students interested in joining our show crew for the upcoming season! Show Crew helps out with many things, such as organizing costumes, handling props, and even moving some smaller extension risers. Below are the dates we would need you to be available, but we can be flexible!!! Please fill out this Google Form Below!

- Davenport North "The Big Dance" Show Choir Competition - Saturday, January 31st

- Bettendorf "Rhythm on the Riverbend" Show Choir Competition - Saturday, February 7th

  • Are you interested in building the set for the upcoming play??  Come join the Build Company this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4-6. Show up every day or when you can!!   Meet at the scene shop located behind the stage.  See Mr. Tolle if you have any questions. 

  • The Industrial Tech Skills Club will meet TOMORROW at 7:45 in B105.  We will be voting for this year's officers, so if you are interested,  come to the meeting.   We will also be discussing upcoming fundraising events.

  • CDC - Cultural Diversity Club - Next Meeting, Wednesday, October 8th at 7:35 am in B202 - Dr. Roeder's room. All are welcome!

  • Any high-school girls interested in playing soccer this spring, please attend the informational meeting next Wednesday at 7:30 am in the Commons.

  • FCCLA will hold its next meeting on Friday, October 10th, at 7:45 am in room B 217 (Toppert's). All are welcome.

  • The Speech and Debate Team will be hosting the Bulldog Invitational Debate Training Sessions starting TODAY.  Any interested 9th - 12th grade students from across the Quad Cities (and beyond!) will be meeting in the Bettendorf High School Library from 6 pm - 7:30 pm each Monday for the next 6 weeks to learn all about Debate.  If you are interested in attending, please scan the QR code on the posters around the school to sign up, OR email Mr. Rankin.  

  • Are you into dark secrets, forbidden science, and a little romance in the shadows of 19th-century Edinburgh? Join us for the first Book Club meeting of the semester during Pride Time on October 16, as we dive into Anatomy: A Love Story by Dana Schwartz — a gothic tale where ambition, mystery, and love collide. All students are welcome!🕯️See Ms. Mitola in the library for more details. Don't miss it — this story will get under your skin... literally
