Have you tried out taking a brain break in the new Brain Health Retreat Room? With only a short time left in the school year, take advantage of the space and use Minga to create a BHRR pass for yourself when feeling stressed or distracted, with teacher permission. Come see what it's all about! Open 9-1 every day except Wednesdays.
On June 18th from approximately noon-4, Bettendorf Police and Fire will be hosting a critical incident training at BHS. We are looking for approximately 100 students to participate in the training. Students will be engaging with law enforcement, taking on various roles that a typical student would, and then be debriefed following the training. It is meant to simulate an active shooter, while training is 100% safe and no students will be harmed or put in harms way, resources will be available following the training should the need arise. Please indicate your level of interest in participating. More information for the "Yes" and "Maybe" participants will be sent out closer to the event. BHS, BPD, BFD thank you for your help in securing our schools. Please reach out to Det. Salsberry, Mr. Skillett, or Mrs. Schanz with additional questions. Sign up here.
