BCSD 5th graders came together for their annual track & field meet! Students teamed up with peers from other schools, building new friendships and connections as they prepare for middle school. A great day of teamwork, fun, and school spirit! #BETTerTogether

200 feet underground and full of curiosity! BHS students explored Linwood Mines, learning about the science, engineering, and 50+ careers that keep the mine running. From high-calcium limestone to a bus ride deep underground, the day sparked nonstop questions! #BETTerTogether

Students in German IV face-timed and called their grandparents for a past-tense project. Students compared what it was like to learn at school in the past with what it is like today. One grandparent even divulged they used an abacus in math class! #BETTerTogether

🐾 Bettendorf High School students recently attended Vet Tech Day at the Muscatine Agriculture Learning Center!

Students had the opportunity to explore the world of veterinary technology through hands-on experiences and interactive learning. They watched a live surgery, toured classrooms, and rotated through activities including animal CPR, IV and blood draw simulations, ultrasound, dental exams, and more.

Current students in the Vet Tech Program were also on hand to answer questions and share insight into their experiences and coursework. Thank you to the Muscatine Agriculture Learning Center for providing such an engaging opportunity for our students to explore careers in animal science and veterinary medicine! 🩺🐶🐴
