Bettendorf High School is proud to announce that several current students and recent graduates have been recognized by the College Board's Advanced Placement (AP) Program for their extraordinary academic performance on the 2026 AP Exams.

The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program provides willing and academically prepared students with the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses while still in high school, earning college credit, advanced placement, or both. The College Board recognizes several levels of achievement based on students' performance on AP Exams.

Understanding the AP Scholar Award Levels

  • AP Scholar: Awarded to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.

  • AP Scholar with Honor: Awarded to students who earn an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.

  • AP Scholar with Distinction: Awarded to students who earn an average score of at least 3.50 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
