Tell us a little about yourself outside of work (family, pets, hobbies).
My father has proudly worked for the Bettendorf Community School District for 23 years, and I am extremely close with my family. I have two nephews, Koleman and Kane, whom I love dearly. I also have two cats, Roscoe and Rue.
In my free time, I enjoy golfing as often as possible, usually five days a week, and working out at the gym six days a week.
What’s one fun fact most people don’t know about you?
I love to drive trucks, I have a Big Horn Dodge Ram
What drew you to Bettendorf Schools?
I was a substitute teacher for the district right after college and fell in love with the environment and staff. My career path was going to be an Athletic Director, but after those three years of being a substitute for the district, I knew what my calling was at this time.
What are you most excited about in your new role?
Building great relationships with my students in a new environment. Also, support from my coworkers and administrators.
