Tell us a little about yourself outside of work (family, pets, hobbies).
Outside of work I love to go to church, workout at Orangetheory Fitness, read books, try different coffee shops, hangout with my family (especially my adorable nephew) and boyfriend, and go to concerts.
What’s one fun fact most people don’t know about you?
I've lived in 5 different states and have traveled to 9 countries
What drew you to Bettendorf Schools?
The first core value of the district is Community. It states: We are welcoming to all, and seek to accomplish our goals through collaboration, ensuring the work honors and reflects our diverse voices and values. Community is everything to me. I went to a small college and that's where I first experienced true community. I've only heard good things about Bettendorf Schools so I am excited to be a part of the Community.
What are you most excited about in your new role?
I'm most excited to meet all my new students, to be a part of the Bettendorf community, and to learn and grow as an educator!
