Tell us a little about yourself outside of work (family, pets, hobbies).
I grew up in Denison, Iowa, surrounded by a big family. My husband and I moved to the Quad Cities last year, and we've loved calling it home ever since! We have two dogs - a Miniature Dachshund named Joey and a Boston Pug named Millie who keep us busy and make us laugh. In my free time, I love crafting, baking, and trying new things!
What’s one fun fact most people don’t know about you?
I'm always on the hunt for unique thrift finds and the best local coffee shops!
What drew you to Bettendorf Schools?
I completed my student teaching in the Bettendorf District and immediately felt welcomed by the staff, students, and families. The supportive school community and commitment to helping every child grow made me excited to return!
What are you most excited about in your new role?
I am most excited to get to know my students, build relationships, and be part of their learning journey each day!
