Tell us a little about yourself outside of work (family, pets, hobbies).
Outside of work, I am a mom to three girls, and they keep me busy in the best way. I love spending time with my family, watching my daughter play sports, being outside, going on walks, and finding fun things to do with my kids. My daughters are a huge part of who I am and my free time is spent creating a life that's meaningful, fun, and full of love for them.
What’s one fun fact most people don’t know about you?
Something most people don't know about me is I love sports. I grew up around sports so being competitive and having fun is something I enjoy.
What drew you to Bettendorf Schools?
The sense of a strong community. My family has been apart of Bettendorf for a long time, My dad has been involved as a softball coach, therefore I have seen first hand how much pride and support there is within the district. It feels like a place where people truly care about students, families, and one another. I am excited to be apart of that community in my own role.
What are you most excited about in your new role?
I am most excited about building relationships with my students and helping create a classroom where they feel safe, supported, and capable everyday. I am looking forward to celebrating their progress and helping them grow as a person.
