Tell us a little about yourself outside of work (family, pets, hobbies).
I have 3 younger siblings, two very supportive parents, and a very nosy cat named Reina. In my free time, I like to get creative, either by painting or doing some kind of DIY. For fun, I like to grab a drink and go shopping. I especially love a good matcha with strawberry or lavender. Traveling and seeing new things is something I try to do when I can since there is so much to explore.
What’s one fun fact most people don’t know about you?
I lived in Mexico all by myself for two months for student teaching!
What drew you to Bettendorf Schools?
From kindergarten to high school, I went to Bettendorf. I graduated in 2022. I always liked the involvement and community of Bettendorf schools. I already have so many connections in the district. Being a guest teacher made me realize more how Bettendorf is a good fit for me. It makes me excited to be a bulldog again!
What are you most excited about in your new role?
I am most excited to meet and connect with more people, including the staff and students. It will be exciting to see how students grow creatively and the amazing art that will be created. This is a new chapter in life that I have been preparing for and looking forward to!
