Tell us a little about yourself outside of work (family, pets, hobbies).
My husband, Ray, and I have 4 children. We moved to Bettendorf in August of 2025 from Minnesota. I love to read (especially mysteries and horror stories). I also enjoy camping with my family, crafting, and watching movies.
What’s one fun fact most people don’t know about you?
I was in band and color guard all through high school and college.
What drew you to Bettendorf Schools?
We researched the area schools when we moved here last summer and we were impressed with the opportunities and activities that were available to our high schooler. I also love the strong community culture that I've experienced in the district. I am also drawn to the district's focus on inclusive, student centered learning because I believe that every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and welcomed at school.
What are you most excited about in your new role?
I am excited to build connections with my students! I want to be a positive, steady, role model and build a supportive community in my classroom and school.
