BCSD takes pride in offering extensive support services to meet the needs of all learners.


  • NA_Paras 2 004.jpgEnglish As a Second Language (ESL) - Helping students become English proficient in the language skills of reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
  • Extended Learning Program (ELP) - Dedicated to providing students challenging educational opportunities beyond their classroom experience.
  • Title I (Reading & Math Enrichment) - A federally funded supplemental program established to improve student achievement. Students receive instruction on an individual basis through the first grade Reading Recovery Program and in small groups at other grade levels.
  • Special Education - Working to ensure that each student with a disability has the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills, and competencies consistent with his/her potential to achieve.
  • Section 504 - Section 504 is a federal statute that prohibits discrimination based upon a disability.
